ABM Precast Solutions supplied six U8 beams and thirty-six deck edge parapets for the new River Devon Bridge, working closely with Breheny Civil Engineering Ltd to meet demanding technical and logistical requirements. The bridge’s design supports the wider dual carriageway expansion and flood alleviation works, ensuring durability and safe passage for road users.

Offsite manufacture and just-in-time delivery enabled efficient installation with minimal disruption to the busy construction programme. The River Devon Bridge now forms a vital part of the upgraded Southern Link Road, supporting improved journey times, safety, and future development for Newark and its surrounding communities.
